As of February 2015, 18.5 million Civics had been sold worldwide. With 7.3 million bought in the United States, it has been one of the top sellers in the country and in Canada, where it placed number one for 14 years through 2012. In 2019, the Civic was the second-best-selling car in the U.S. after the Toyota Camry.
